As an expert for Supply Chain & Operations, Matti had the privilege to work and create value for different companies across the industries. His projects were ranging from digital supply chain vision shaping to complex business transformations as well as short and agile RPA studies, covering supply chain planning from S&OP to capacity and material planning. Since November 2020 he is responsible for S&OP Planning at Munters.

Corporate supply chain risk management, Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co.KG

As a corporate supply chain risk manager at Schaeffler, I am passionate about developing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance organizational capabilities and resilience through digitalization. I have successfully led and developed risk analytics and reporting tools, enabling timely and effective decision-making and risk mitigation across the supply chain network. My digital projects contributed towards improving supply chain transparency for effective risk management.

I am also pursuing my PhD degree in entrepreneurship, technology and management at the University of Twente, where I am researching the impact of digital transformation on operational excellence and resilience building practices. My academic background in automotive production engineering and automobile engineering, coupled with my practical experience in purchasing, supplier management and logistics, has equipped me with a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the supply chains in automotive industry and its challenges and opportunities.
